since im on a push to lower BF%, im trying to be more dietary aware. one thing ive been reading about is Glycemic Index (http://www.glycemicindex.com/) (GI), and it seems to be another good thing to notice about the foods i consume. if i understand correctly, on days im not active, i should try to eat foods with lower GI so as to not build fat from excess glycogen, yes?

i found a list of GI for common foods (http://www.lowglycemicdiet.com/gifoodlist.html) that is helpful. anyone know of any other good resources, or have any information or knowledge of GI?

understanding GI is great for choosing foods that will be clean and keep you full

it will not effect fat loss directly in any way, excess cals are stored as fat regardless if they come from low or high GI foods

You also need to consider how much of the carbohydrate food you are eating.
IE It's not just about how fast they digest, but also the magnitude and duration of the increase in blood sugar.
