How long should you wait to workout after you eat a meal?

The way my schedule sometimes is I'll end up finishing lunch and going straight to the gym, only to drink a Myoplex immediately after my workout. I usually try and space my meals out by about 3 hours, but on my busy days I end up having a meal and a Myoplex within 90 minutes of each other.

I'm more concerned about drinking the Myoplex directly after my workout, it's a high protein shake with something like 23 g of carbs. Any suggestions?

atleast a hour but it depends on what and how much you eat.
