I've been eating very clean for the past two months. Once a week I give myself a cheat day, but I don't go overboard, I usually eat clean all day but will have some ice cream or frozen yogurt after dinner. My question is this:

If I were to have a routine diet everyday (which is what I have now except for my one allowed cheat day per week) but in replacement for my cheat day meals I went out with friends and had a couple of drinks at a bar, would I be doing more bad than good or vice versa?

I know alcohol has different effects on your body than junk food does, but if I ate clean everyday and had 6-8 beers once a week, would it be that bad?

No, it wouldn't be that bad.

Would it be worse than a cheat meal? Yes

It's toxic so it could affect your efforts in the gym on monday.

IMO 6-8 beers isn't as bad as a full cheat day.
Its worse then a cheat meal though.
Eat clean all weak and go have your 6beer and have a good time.
