Ive been on a work out routine/diet for about 2 and a half weeks now.. Im 18 yrs old 5'11 205lbs... I started out at 220lbs so the diet/workout routine has been going well... I recently was told by many ppl that im young and I dont need a strict diet, just not to eat after 6pm and if im going to eat bad foods like I use to just eat it in moderations.. is this true? can I eat what I use to eat in moderations and still loose weight? or do I need to follow a strict diet?

Today I ate:

Breakfeast: bagel with multivitamin
Lunch: 2 chicken soft tacos...serving of beans and rice...
2 hours after lunch: can of chicken noodle soup
Dinner: Hamburger helper/1slice of buttered bread

Thanks,
Doug

might as well post workout routine...

Monday: Chest/shoulders/back/ABS
Tuesday: Arms/legs
Wed: Chest/shoulders/back/ABS
Thurs: Arms/legs
Fri: Chest/shoudlers/back/ABS
Sat: no weight lifting with cardio
Sun: no weight lifting with cardio

My cardio looks like this:
2 mile treadmill
4 miles bike
2 miles on nordic trac thing

1) Not eating after 6pm is a dumb idea.
2) Moderation is key
3) You can still lose weight/fat by eating your regular foods, provided that you are in a caloric deficit. With that said, there will come a time that fatloss will halt by using this method, and that is when you might want to look at some sort of cyclical diet to help you out (Ultimate Diet 2.0, run a search for it if you are interested, or go to www.bodyrecomposition.com)

You might want to add in a rest day or two there. You don't want to be overtraining...

Eat AFTER 6pm. Otherwise your starving yourself(losing muscle)
The routine you listed is....well, aweful.
Try the WBB#1 routine.
