Sylvester Stallone was hilarious. Especially the skit with him in the video store, with Jim breuer and Tracy Morgan. "Lemme see that big knife you be carryin."

You're kidding, right?

For the most part, SNL blows donkey nads. The early years were great, Eddie was great, the show was dead for 5 years, a couple years of flashes, Ferrell was great, show dead again.

"Kids in the Hall" is the best sketch comedy show ever. And Mad TV had some great stuff around the millennium turn with Sasso.

Mad TV was pretty good back then. Whatever happened to Sasso? The Steven Seagal skits were f-ckin hilarious.

Jim Carey was a great host. There are a few others I can't think of immediately.

Will Sasso was the **** in MadTV, he's the reason why I watched MadTV. I agree he was hilarious as Steven Seagal.

My vote goes for Baldwin. The skit where he played the Marine escort in the spyplane that went down over China is one of my favorite sketches ever. Friggin Ever.

And the Japanese game show...Christ. Farley, Meyers and Baldwin in the same skit? Sign me up.

Mad TV has a few good comedians, but horrible writers. It's so apparent how underused some of the talent was on that show.

As far as the best hosts go, I agree with most of what was said. However, one of my favorite moments was when Mary Kate and Ashley hosted and they pretended they were red carpet reporters. Ashley's like, "Hey it's the olsen twins!" Mary Kate goes, "Hey skinny-one, eat a sandwich!"

I thought it was pretty cool that they could laugh at themselves.

I had COMPLETELY forgotten about that skit. Oh lord, my buddy and I were laughing so hard when that came on.

True that, the best SNL episodes were with Eddie Murphy, John Belushi, Steve Martin, etc.. they are unparalleled, even better than Chris Farley, Norm MacDonald, and crew.

Sasso as Elvis was kinda funny though.

I curse the day comedy central replaced old snl's and kids in the hall with mad tv.

One of my favorite skits is when Justin Timberlake was dressed up as the banana for an ice cream shop. Good stuff. The Baldwin skits are classic.
