ok heres my story

20 years old, college wrestler (heavyweight). Currently weigh 240lbs at about 14%bf and im 6'4. want to be as big as humanly posssilbe but have a hard time keeping my weight UP during the season cuz im wrestling all day. have about a month left. then its go time. so just lettin you guys now that here i come, ill post from time to time for the next month, and then when the seasons over itll be a daily thing. hope i dont bore you guys (if anyone acutally reads this.

The spelling isn't perfect, but I'd like to see your workouts and summary of wrestling practices.

well i cant get any pics cuz my comp is soooooooo slow. sorry. here are some lifting stats as of right now, not that good cuz i cant lift too often during the season
bench 300x6
dead 405x4
squat 315x5

anyways, sprained my ankle about 12 days ago so im not able to get on the mat right now so im just going through some thereop with the trainers.

did some back work today and swam to get the cardio going again.

ps. ill figure out how to get the pics, and sorry bout the spelling.

Good luck one the rest of the season. Those are some impressive lifts. What school do you go to?

its a small d3 college in ohio. i dont like wresltling enough to go D1 haha. gotta get my squat up, thats my main goal, just really hard cuz my legs are so long. oh well.

What is the difference between 'd3' and 'D1'?

D3 schools are much smaller than D1. D1 schools are your major state schools Michigan, Iowa etc. Much more competitive Im sure and far more demanding.

exactly andy. d3 we practice once a day, and some of the major d1 schools practice 3x a day (run in am, lift in noon, wrestle in eveinging). We have 2 matches this weekend but i think im gonng tell my coach i need my ankle to heal cuz its killing right now and i dont wanna make it worse but im sure he'll say "tape it and go haha you know coaches. im gonna start trackin my kcals on here too for the rest of the season, my goal is to keep my weight above 240lbs all season, so we';ll see what happens

weighed in at 241.8 today, didnt practice though, iced, then rode the bike for 30minutes, then ran a mile. ankle felt pretty good.

did some running today, mostly sprint intervals cuz my ankle is still kinda sore. 27more days till i start bodybuilding again. cant fukkin wait

heres one i just took 5 minutes ago. both of these are very disappointing, to say the least, but oh well.

today finally got back on the mat, warmed up with a mile than drilled for about 25 minutes pretty intense. ankle felt ok. tomorrow im gonna do some back and legs before practice. pretty puimped about that, in fact i think im gonna watch pumping iron tonight. 25 more days, till its on

good workout did about 8 sets of straight arm pushdowns (cable) and about 5 sets of reg pulldowns with calf raises in between all sets. felt really good. got practice later on so i didnt wanna do too much such as rows or deads etc.

yah andy i know its weird haha but im still in season so i just like to get in and mix it up to stay in lifting gear ya know what i mean. and soba the reason i say their disappointing is just becasue i never see my back and i honestlyu thought it looked a little better thats all.

weighed in at 242.6 which was good, drilled hard for about 45 minutes, then did some sprints ankles killing again. i think its just too soon to be wrestling on it but who knows. we'll see how it feels for my tourny saturday

wqeighed in at 242.7, tough practice couldnt go full go on the ankle but still got a good workout. no lifting today. ankles real swollen this morning and again after practice, hurting like a bittch.

243lbs today havent weighed in over 243 in over a month. very nice. hard ass practice. had an amazing workout. ankle felt surprisingly good so its a go for saturdays tourney.

well my tourny couldnt have went better yesterday. i won it and was also awarded most oustanding wrestler of the tournament. i was pretty pumped. well this means i onlygot 3 weeks left till liftin starts again. cant wait

nice job on the tourney. I was a wrestler in H.S. and did some coaching afterwards. your pics where fine also, just shows how much you can fill out with that tall frame.

Yesterday was match day. i won 12-3, my conditioning seemed a little down, prab cuz sudnay i had off and monday was a light practice day so im gonna have to give it a good go today. countdown is at 16 days. CANT WAIT.

well its been a while since i updated although not much has happened. havent lifted in forever, cuz wrestlings been rough lately. fee like im shrinking. my weights at about 240ish, so i lost 2-3lbs. record stands at 19-5. match tonight then nothing till next saturday when i have conferences. 9 more days till lifting.
ps. been thinkgin of alot of ideas for lifting lately, i think theyll help alot when i put them into play.
