Just came down with a damn sinus infection. I am up six pounds now after two weeks of prop and tren. Nothing really has happend in the strength department. I have had sinus infections in the past but I let this one go for a little bit thinking it was something to do with the gear like test flu. I'm thinking it probably started after the first weeks cycle. My appetite sucks and I am hacking up yellow and green ****, my doctor gave me Omnicef 300mg 2x a day for 15 days. I took two days worth and it doesn't seem to be working. This frickin sucks being my first cycle. I've read that antibiotics shouldn't be affected by gear and then I also read the opposite.
Any experienced users have any advice? Starting today, I will just shoot the prop and skip the tren. I have read that tren is harsher on your immune system since it shuts you down really hard. I am just reading mixed signals on this subject.

Thanks,
Ant

Ant, I am anti-drug but I can help with the sinus infection. Go to your local "drug" store and buy saline nose mist. Get the one that is saline and water only. I have not had a sinus infection in years since I started it. Probably will help you now too.

Interesting Rob. Something you use everyday/week? My doctor also gave me a script for Flonase which is a mist you breathe in. It contains flucianozone propianate.

Thanks,

Yes I use it everyday, 1 mist before I go to work. I have always gotten 2-3 sinus infections a year. Now I don't get any!!!

if the antibiotics aren't working, and I would give them more than a couple days, that means its viral, in which case you might wanna try some ephedrine to clear the mucus out of your sinuses while you wait out the duration, I have pretty brutal allergies and nothing can touch the decongestant power of a good dose of straight up ephedrine, at least... it works well for me.

You usually won't feel better until 2-3 days after antibiotic use. If you are hacking up green stuff it means you have a bacterial infection. It could be that the antibiotic does not work against the bacteria you have. Although omnicef is an extended spectrum antibiotic, it is not a broad spectrum antibiotic. Give the antibiotic another day. If it doesn't help then ask your doctor to change the antibiotic.

Thanks for the replies. So whether it is bacterial and taking antibiotics or viral taking gear won't matter? or should I stop??

I meant should I stop taking gear with either of these conditions?

Thanks,

LOL Nevermore, you have been on now for over 6 months?? We know you don't play. Anyway I am feeling much better today. Mucous is breaking up now and I can actually blow my nose. I will take it easy this weekend and get back into some serious quality eating. I believe dropping out the tren/fina from cycle has helped the recovery. I probably won't try the tren again until a couple of weeks as long as I am feeling very healthy. Hopefully Monday I will hit the gym. Still six pounds up in weight, muscles seem more firm and vascular. "Probably all that oil from e.d. prop injections!!" I know one thing, my wife wants me to leave her the hell alone. I gotta have it every night on this stuff. I call it "dick of death", takes a while to climax.

I use to get them all the time. I used triminicin (tabs) and afrin (nose spray) from your local store

Are the Triminicin tabs prescription or non?
I have been using the Ocean Nasal Spray that suprarob suggested. Working pretty good so far. Helps break up the mucous that is in my sinus currently.
Other than that, I am slowly getting better. Ate alot of food this past weekend but somehow I lost a pound when I weighed today. Maybe from being sick and not working out for a week? Depressing. Had a pretty good workout today. Felt a little weak but managed to beat last workouts max rep qty. I was happy about that. Can't wait until I can start the tren again, I think it was just starting to kick in for me then I got sick. I know the tren is pretty potent for me because I would wake up thinking someone sprayed me all over with a garden hose. Now, only my chest will get a little damp.
Thanks everyone,
Ant

But don't use Afrin or similar decongestant spray more than 2 or 3 days in a row and then not again for several weeks (months?) or you will make your congestion problem worse. My ENT recommends skipping afrin altogether for this reason. Oral decongestants are OK but can raise your blood pressure.

Saline nasal sprays to loosen up the goop and help you blow it out are also recommended.
