Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster here. I'm kicking myself in the ass to adhere to my new years resolution, and the first step to that is bulking. What I'd like are some suggestions on something I can drink that has at least 2500 cals, a good amount of fat, carbs, protein etc etc. I'd eat it, but I work fulltime, and having a plate of food at my tech bench is a no no. What ingredients can I use? And what about maltodextrin (a guy at my gym told me it was good for calories or something?)? I'm sick of the weight gainer I tried from GNC, so anything you guys could recommend would be great! TIA

hmm u might be overshootin it a lil bit with the 2500+ cal shake....unless u planned to drink it over a period of time...because to get that many cals it would take a good amount of volume of shake...tafman's shake looks like a pretty good baseline...

It is better to spread your meals out over the day instead of all at once. It gives your body a constant source of nutrients to draw from.

Yeah that's what I meant. I'd just have it right there with me the whole day, drinking it gradually.

try mixing allorted things into it, or try the one above. you can put almost anything into a shake, but it might not taste good

Just a warning if you plan to consume one of these monster shakes all in one sitting. I tried making a monster shake recently that consisted of: 4 cups or 2% milk, 5 scoops of whey protien, 2 banannas, and 3 tbs of olive oil, and 3 tbs pb. This took me about 10 minutes to drink and only about 12 minutes total to leave my body via vomit. The shake is roughly 2000 calories. I wont be trying that again cause it was a waste of food and I dont really like to vomit. Maybe you can handle that much at once, but I certainly cant, I try to keep it under the 1000 mark from now on.
