You certainly are tall for a boy who has just turn 14. Usually 14 year olds are around 5ft 3 ish. All I can say is that you are lucky to have a great baseline to start off; any muscle will be easily noticed. Good luck Mate.

Agree with MC...eat, lift & grow; there's nothing to cut, go for the mass.

Haha, thanks for the comments guys. I know I gotta eat :) I stopped lifting over the summer and since then my diet has gone to crap. One word of advice- Don't EVER EVER EVER eat jack in the box tacos. Another thing, does my chest look small for the rest of me?

It looks like it might be a little smaller than the rest of you

take lots of steroids to become a monster, then you can take the smaller kid's lunch money in school.

and with that money you can buy more steroids.

I just think many 14 year old boys are small... Maybe I am wrong... Maybe it is just my area...

Haha i'd love to take roids but
1. i think im too young
2. i dont have any sources
3. my parents would kill me (or my mom would at least -ever since she saw the dateline report of the kid that killed himelf cuz of roid rage....)

Hey man...I'm 14 as well and man don't let anyone tell you being young and smaller has anything to do with ****...Im like 5.4 and I put up 210 on bench...I also am trying to bulk...Being small has advantages plus makes the 10th and 11th graders in my school look like pussies when bench more than most of the football team...

How do I compare in size to other kids my age (in you guy's opinions)

Uhmmm I guess I'll start you are smaller than me...you might be taller than me...But I am from what I can tell in your picture I am i am going to say thicker and wider...but then again I am short...im 5.4 or 5.5...I'm goingto try to post some pictures just gotta get my sister to take them of me...

Sweet, yeah i lifted over the summer for like 3 months. Bench went from 100 to 130 as my max. Yeah, I know, I'm weak but I hope that if I can increase my bench 10 lbs a month that I can get strong. But everything else is way up there. My squat is 245, and my deadlift I estimate is around 200. :-/ I feel weak, but hey, its a start.

10 lbs. a month is realistic thing to start but right now my bench moves up slow...I mean like 5 pounds 2-3 weeks sometimes as much as a month

You're got a good base but I think you're a little hung up on one body part being to samll to big etc. Don't worry about that stuff still you've gained 50 pounds and are still really lean. You just need to start eating like a vacume and getting some quality lifts in.

A 240+ lb squat at your weight with little experience isn't too shabby at all.

I think I was about 5'10 at 14, and only grew another 3 inches from there. I was taller than most, but shorter than quite a few. I'd say average at 14 is around 5'7.

I was about your height when I was 14. I was just a lot fatter. Dont worry about how much you can lift. I started working out and I was struggling with 95 pounds for the bench. Now I can do 325. It goes up fast when you first start off as long as you are dedicated and eat. If you are tall its hard to compare yourself to other guys your age that are short. They will pretty always look thicker then you. I am 6'4" and I see a lot of guys 5'8" to 5'10" that have bigger arms and chest and I can out lift them. And dont let anyone tell you that because you are tall you cant squat or deadlift as much as a short guy. It isnt true. I cant squat because I took 7 years off and just started again 4 months ago. Basically eat and lift and dont worry about the cardio.
