Ok I've been told that drinking while taking suppliments is basically a waste of money. That alchohol will flush your system out or something to that effect. Is this true? Im very aware that alchohol dehydrates you as well, but I propably drink around 2 gallons of water a day, (all I do at work is drink water all day.) So is it possible that weight training and moderate drinking, (maybe slightly higher than moderate) could co-exsist without too many problems?

It's not true.

There are lots of reasons alcohol abuse (or heavy use) isn't going to help you with your training goals, but a couple of beers isn't going to hurt you.

Just watch the side-effects that are going to directly effect your training and diet. Hangovers/not-training, binge eating, and excess calories from beer/sugary drinks.
