Whats so bad about sugar?

Just wondering about the low-down on sugar... are they so bad for people who want to gain weight? From my understanding, malto and dextrose is good, sucrose is bad, why is that?

Sugar is bad in excess. In the modern world we in general eat a large amount of sugary foods that lack any sort of nutrition. Not all sugars are bad, some amount is necessary. Do a search and you will find plenty of info.
