My bulk has been going pretty well. I'm up to 180lbs, which is the heaviest I've ever been. My BF% is also the highest it's ever been, so I'm trying to tell myself it's ok, you're on a bulk. I'm going to keep pushing until atleast 190. I still have hopes to do a show at some time, which would be my first. I'm thinking of making a return trip to NC and possibly compete in the Mountaineer on the last weekend of September. I could possibly compete as a middle weight. My diet has been pretty clean, and I've been averaging about 4500 cals a day.

Looking good and you seem to have a very good frame for bodybuilding... lots of room for alot more mass on there

02-05-2005, 08:32 PM
Looking great dude. Impressive lats. Your traps seem to be lagging a bit. Are you doing any heavy shrugging?

02-05-2005, 08:33 PM
lookin good man...keep up the good work....and don't worry bout the bf% cuz u can always go on a cut....

02-05-2005, 08:37 PM
damn CP lookin good bro... its about damn time you hit 180 and good luck with competeing bro you got the body for it just pack on a couple more lbs of muscle and your good...

one more thing lets try and hit 190 a lil sooner than it took you to get to 180 K :-)

Frankster: Adding mass is the goal. Thanks dude.

Drew: Traps have always been a weak point, but they are actually much better than they used to be. I hit 6pps on HS Shrugs today, does that count as heavy shrugging?

Optimum: Thanks man. Its tough loosing the abs. I want to put on some more lbs. before I cut.

Mase: I'll try my best. Getting sick last month made me drop about 12 lbs, otherwise I would have hit 180 in early January.

02-05-2005, 09:59 PM
Yeah, I would say 6pps qualifies.

02-05-2005, 09:59 PM
mmmmmmmm looking good there! great work! :)

02-05-2005, 11:24 PM
how much did you weigh and how tall are you?

I agree. Looking very good bro. Legs are lagging a bit behind though.

02-06-2005, 12:00 AM
looking good...front relaxed is a good pose for you

02-06-2005, 02:26 AM
great arms and obliques! your shoulders are looking great! keep up the good work!

02-06-2005, 08:12 AM
Getfit: Thanks alot, now if only I could get my bf% down to the same as yours.

Snatch: Weight depends on what time frame you are talking about. I've been working out since senior year in hs, which is about 8 years, and I started back around 140. My bulk officialy started on Oct. 11th, and that was at 159, but that was down from around 170 in August. I'm about 5' 11".

Smalls: Thanks dude. I've been working legs hard, they have come a long ways. I can handle a 1-rep squat of around 2x's bw.

Gabrielle: Thanks, I was told my chest looks like it is lagging, but that is mainly due to me standing upright and sticking my chest out a bit.

Antonio: Thanks dude. Up until about 2 months ago, I never really worked arms. My arms mainly grew from dips/pullups. I haven't done abs in forever, the obliques are just genetics.

damn cp looking good man...still looking lean. lats and back are impressive. hellauva good job there bro

02-06-2005, 09:25 AM
little more legs as suggested, traps seem fine, but throw in some cg upright rows if you want them to come up. And I think you cut yourself short on the back double biceps from a posing standpoint.

02-06-2005, 10:47 AM
Obliques are nice man, and arms and back aren't bad either. I have a similar build and height (5'10"), and I started from 140 too, but that was only about a year ago. I'm up to 155 now (haven't been as consistent as I should be :( ). I'm having to tell myself the same thing about bf too, lol. Anyway, inspiring stuff man, from 140 to 180, and beyond...keep it up!

02-06-2005, 12:07 PM

Looking very solid bro. That's definitely the biggest I've ever seen of you. Don't worry about the BF at all. I'd sat hit the big 200 then cut back down. You're making excellent progress. Keep squatting!

Oh and let me know about the mountaineer so I can be there to cheer you on.

02-06-2005, 12:33 PM
great frame, good luck with the possible shows!

02-07-2005, 01:12 AM

Very nice!!

02-07-2005, 09:44 PM
Brian: Thanks. I am not very good at the back poses, I had a much better lat spread pic, but I erased it.

Rafe: Thank man, just keep progressing little by little!

Justin: Thanks man. The show is a long time off, but I'll let you know what I decide.

Manveet: Thanks man. I think I can get up to a solid 200, atleast I hope...

500: Thanks man, wish I had some of that thickness you have!

Musclechic: Thanks much!

CP, you've done a great job bulking. You still look really lean. Awesome job mang.

02-08-2005, 02:41 PM
Calves seem ok from what I can see but could be better. (Back calf shot please.)
Hey, I'm trying to look on the bright side.

Arms and back quite impressive.

:withstupi on just about everything else.

You look good! Keep up the good work!

02-08-2005, 09:14 PM
Soba: I'll put a calf shot in my journal sometime in the next week.

Chris: Thanks alot man, that means a lot coming from you!

ECTX: Thanks. I'm trying my hardest to the leanness!

02-09-2005, 07:41 AM
As I mentioned to you directly, you're looking much thicker and still lean. Shoulders and arms have improved. It's great to see that the bulk is going well now that the routine has settled in. Add in another 20lbs and you'll be beastly. Keep up the great work CP.

02-09-2005, 12:06 PM
damn dude you look way bigger than 180lbs, I hit 190lbs (5'9") - and I look nothing like that (check out my thread on here)

damn im jealous good work - you still look pretty lean!

02-09-2005, 02:38 PM
You did add a significant amount of fat, but you look way more muscular. Your fat level is also still pretty low. Looking a lot better than the last pics I saw months ago.

02-09-2005, 07:52 PM
Rook:Thanks man. I'm trying to get up to Rookiebig!

Skinnyfat:I'd expect us to look different, I've been wokring out for about 8 years now. Thanks dude.

Beast: Are you calling me fat? U bastard. Atleast your boys took down BC, I really hate BC.

02-09-2005, 10:21 PM
Rook:Thanks man. I'm trying to get up to Rookiebig!

Now that's quotable! :)

02-10-2005, 04:27 PM
cp, nice work buddy! I think you have a pretty solid v shape going there. I can definetely see size improvements all over from the last pics. You will look awesome with another 10 or 20 pounds on you. You lift like you are there already. You have to be pound for pound one of the strongest guys on this site. Great work man, keep going!

02-10-2005, 09:08 PM
Rook: I made the quote list! This just motivated me to skip sleep and go eat another meal.

Orbital: thanks man, but I think I'm far from the top of the lb. for lb. list. There are some real strong dudes on this board.

02-14-2005, 07:15 AM
nice work cp. keep bulking up man.

02-14-2005, 08:24 PM
What do you do to achieve that V on the lower abs (side). I need that

02-14-2005, 08:55 PM
RBB: Where's you been bud? THanks for the kind words.

Meister: Have good genetics. I haven't really worked abs in a while. I did abs on Sunday for the 1st time in about 2 months.

02-15-2005, 04:04 AM
Awesome body, all bodyparts are pretty big and well proportioned. You have the potential to be huge.
