yeah, I did 12 weeks (75mg ED), with a one week layoff in the middle (restocking). Cycle was great, but I was completely miserable for pct. practically brain dead. I will never be doing that again.

Provided you control your blood pressure and monitor you blood lipids I don't see why tren would be any worse than any other androgen run for an extended period of time.
...and yes FONZ is a tool box.

now everybody knows i luv tren more than life itself but i think there's a lot more to it than just monitoring blood pressure and lipids. For some reason, ESPECIALLY HOMEBREW, i think theres alot more to the whole health equation. For one i think tren has a nasty effect on the immune system, although this has not been the case with me, its been common among many users who have ran longer than normal cycles with tren.

ahhh bro.....ur right on with that man...i worry about it all the time, my hairline isnt great to begin with but its hangin in there...doesnt seem to deter the ladies too much! i have a short taper fade with a chinstrap, so looks good short!
Don't worry double T. You'll look like POPS pretty soon. Just shave it and you won't have to worry. Back in the 70's when DR. K told me I'll loose my hair if i keep doing the roids, I just shaved the F-ing thing. No more worries Brother.
Note: what bothers me the most is now I have to shave the sides everyday. Wish all of it would have fall out, then I wouldn't have to own stock in BIC RASORS

Will Finasteride prevent hairloss from Tren?

Will Finasteride prevent hairloss from Tren?
No, it prevents the 5-alpha reducatase enzyme from converting test to DHT(basically), tren can't be converted in that way. Tren acts directly on the receptor(i believe). but it would still be beneficial since most cycle with tren will include test.
As a side note, isnt body hair growth also DHT related, so shouldnt finasteride aid in preventing it. Mines getting rediculous, so the finasteride doesnt seem to be helping lol.

Tren is about as androgenic as DHT and it only takes a few mg's of DHT to cause hair loss so I think you get the picture. Same goes for body hair growth it's an androgenic side effect not DHT specific.

But keep in mind those sort of sides are all genetic. I get massive body hair growth but have never seen a hair fall from my hair, even when up to 100mg/day of tren.

Obviously, we've said many times that if you don't have genetic traits for MPB no amount of steroid is going to make your hair fall out. Few people use propecia though who don't have such concern.

Tren sucks. I feel like complete crap on it. The lethargy, agressiveness and intolerance are the worse I ever experienced. I am seeing quick results though. After 8 days I start to see a diference in the mirror.

]]']Hey restless, you recovered nicely after that long cycle you were on?
Not really. I was on PCT for about 8 weeks but felt so miserable I decided I would either quit AAS for good and wait untill I recovered or I'd go on TRT, possibly for life but with the possibility of giving PCT one more shot later on if I decide to quit AAS. So I've been on TRT since and no more worries about that. I'm keeping my cycles short now anyway, for different reasons..

restless, did you try hcg>?
Yes I did. During all cycle and during a few weeks post cycle. I felt reasonably well while on it. The thing is that I'm not willing to put up with the emtional roler coaster I feel on PCT. Makes no sense at all to me.

that is interesting because your testes should be ready and willing to produce hormones.
It could be that your hypothalamus and pituitary might be somehow desensitized from prolonged hcg use.

Although i have not read of HCGs actions on the those hormonal centers, it would not be unreasonable for this to be the case.

I beleive the testes were fine, they did react to HCG. I never used more than 500 IU's twice a week, except for post cycle, where I increased the frequency, not the dose. It was clearly a case of secondary hipogonadism. But anyway, I might try to come off eventually, though I have no intention of doing so anytime soon.
