How's it going everyone.
Im tryng to get a good idet going but need some good advise from you guys out there.
Anyway, im not on a weight loss diet or anything, more of a weight gaining diet. Im like 5'11"@ 160lbs, skinny ass!.
My goals are for mass building and not skinny rip. But I also want some abs at the same time.
I want to reach at least 180lbs...

Anyway, for lunch I usually have pasta. I have been told that this is not recommended for any bodybuilder froma trainer at my gym.
Is this true?

Do you guys recommend a cold cut sandwich over pasta for lunch?

I usually have pasta for dinner so I bring leftovers to work the next day.
Breakfast I usually have a bagel, after lunch some tuna and then a PB sandwich on my way to the gym, and a protein shake afterwards, then dinner, then nothing.

What's everyones recommendations?

Pasta is fine, especially on a bulk. It's not a "meal" on its own though...all "meals" should contain some protein. Add some chicken, tuna, cottage cheese, etc. to that and you'll be good to go.

great lunch meal would be a chicken or turkey sandwhich with lettuce and tomato on wheat bread. Add some mayo too. Also cup of brown rice or mixed veggies with some efa's. Maybe even some fruit.

Regular enriched pasta would be better in your post-workout meal.
