Hey guys, I just bought some Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal. Is this ok to eat in place of oatmeal at breakfast for a while?

ya its good to switch it up a lil bit...may not be the exact tradeoff nutrient wise, but better to keep it new than suffer while eating your breakfast...

Kashi stuff isn't bad, at least if you consider how full of fiber it is and that its 'health food'.

Their Go Lean Crunch is pretty tastey too.
I think they need to change the name though, to Kashi Ass Blast. ;)

I used to eat the Kashi high protein high fiber cereal and that stuff wasnt too bad. It had 13 g's protein and 10g's fiber. Not too bad for a cereal. But I will be honest, it was hamster food for people, but I didnt care..... I just thought of it has healthy trix and it made it that much better :p

If you like the taste, go for it.

you gotta get the go lean crunch...the regular is nasty.

kashi is basically oats anyway, you aren't replacing much.

I stick with the Kashi Go-Lean. I like it. I haven't tried the Crunch variety, because I read the label, and it has more sugar. I eat 1 cup of Go-Lean with a half-cup of Fat-Free Cottage cheese.

try it with apples...good stuff. the crunch with apples, that is. not sure how well fiber twigs would go with apples.
