Coming along well and still pretty lean.

Great work man!

02-14-2005, 06:49 AM
thanks everyone..... I'm really happy with the way my biceps are starting peak.... I would also like to see some more lat, chest and general rip cage development..... Anyone have any ideas how to get all the muscles around the rib cage?

02-14-2005, 07:54 PM
oh yeah and the legs..... kinda crappy shots but it's the best I can do.... current squat is 325x2 leg press 750x2 and DL 295x1

you're very lean...just need a little more mass for the muscle to show through... I'd guess 12-14% based on those pics.

Nice work! Awesome drop in bodyfat from those initial pics, plus you've put on a decent amount of muscle!
Are you bulking or cutting or maintaining at the moment?

02-14-2005, 10:47 PM
always bulking.... goal is to hit at least 175 before a cut.... 6 more lbs to go.... I'd like to hit 175 and maintain for a month or so before i cut... I don;t know why but I think maybe i'll hold onto more that way maybe.... plus since i only have 6 more lbs to go I have increased my cardio to get the metabolism even higher in preparation.... lots of HIIT at least 4 days a week..... after this cut I'm contemplating a 12 week test cycle but couldn't say for sure..... It really helps to hear other people think I'm looking good... I still have people who tell me I'm too skinny and need to eat more they usually guess I'm maybe 140lbs when they see me in the gym they think otherwise.....

BTW this will be my first serious cut so any tips and food suggestions will be greatly appreciated....I think that cleaning up my diet alone will yeild great results as currently I've been on a "anything goes" bulk.... ensuring adaquate protien and calories but have not been very concernd with the source..... I will prolly first try a clean diet with same calories as current to attempt some recomposition then cut cals....

I should start a journal lol......

If I were you I wouldn't even consider test for now... still lots of room for natural growth on that frame... I'm not you though :p

02-15-2005, 01:07 AM
I agree with Frankster, I think you could put a lot more muscle on there yet and stay natural. But yeah, you definitely look athletic anyway, if not 'big' :)

02-15-2005, 04:49 AM
Good progress mate. As for the test cycle, i would take Frankster's advice on this one. There is still plenty more room on your body for natural growth, if you take test now you will gain something from it but natural growth after the cycle will slow down.

02-15-2005, 09:49 PM
yeah i know.... i have just been contemplating on it for a while but I will prolly do a few more bulking cycles to get a good idea of diet and routine before a cycle.....

thanks everyone..... I'm really happy with the way my biceps are starting peak.... I would also like to see some more lat, chest and general rip cage development..... Anyone have any ideas how to get all the muscles around the rib cage? Deadlifts and squats!

Congrats on where you are so far. There is a VERY noticeable difference in your physique. Good job!

02-22-2005, 08:38 PM

one more i decided to add..... this is the day after i got my wisdom teeth removed so as you can see it hasnt bothered me too much.... been livin off of a shake of slimfast+natty peanut butter+vanilla whey about 5-6times a day.... tastes very good actually and is quite healthy but I'm currently at about 1000+cals below my bulking diet.....
