I had the same thing when I started on creatine/whey (I started them the same week) and my arms got all spotty and stuff. But after about a month my body got used to whatever it was and it went away. If its not itchy or sore, I wouldnt be all that worried

I don't know about protein but I know my sister can't eat whey. When I started creatine-not to long ago-I would get a slight stomach cramp (i guess not enough water) and then I would get really warm. Ever since, I haven't had any problems.

ohh yeah.. I experienced rashes and blemishes while on creatine. If it don't go away just stop taking it. After trying creatine I felt the sideffects weren't better then the rewards. But i've always had allergies and react to things diffrent then a lot of people do. It might not be for you.

The creatine i got was a pretty cheap kind, is it possible a higher quality could eliminate the problem.. also i think it may go away since i just finished loading and will be taking a lot less each dday now.

you know it's a reaction because your mom has them as well
your mom is taking creatine with you?
P.S. read the article on wbb about creatine loading

i took creatine 2 different times... the first time i was fine had no problems or reactions... the second time however i started taking it about a year later and my face broke out... some pimples but mostly i got these horrible i guess u could call them cysts(pimples that form under your top layers of skin) and when i got them my whole face would swell up and it was impossible to pop them... i guess its just ur body reacting to something foriegn in ur system... i just stopped taking it and i was perfectly normal again in like 2 weeks.... try and experiment.. stop taking it for two weeks and if it goes away then maybe that was it.. and if u start taking it again and the same thing happens u can be certain its the creatine

If you are going to get an allergic reaction, I'd think it would happen relatively soon after starting creatine, not 2 weeks later. Perhaps it's something else that you are reacting too.

hahaha no, she has the same type of reaction to certain foods and medicines,. i was just wondering if id get a tolerance and my skin would clear up when i was done loading or if i should just stop all together (id rather not stop all together as i have been seeing good results)

You almost sound like me. I've been taking GNC Creatine Monohydrate powder for 6 months and never had a problem. Well my supply ran out and I decided to go with Synthatrex Creatine from prosource. About 20 minutes after taking it I noticed my face and neck started getting very hot. As weird as it sounds my face felt like your hand feels when it goes to sleep. About 20 minutes after it started it went away. I don't know if I should stop taking it or not. First instinct tells me to stop but then again it may just be a one time thing.

could be eczema triggered by dehydration. or your creatine could be contaminated with an allergen- in which case you should get your money back

I've read in several sources that creatine CANNOT make you break out or make existing acne worse. Is this true? It seems contrary to what peoples experiences in this thread are.
