If I weigh 150lbs and 100lbs is muscle...and you follow the 1gram of protein per pound diet then you would be eating 150grams of protein. What about when you have a person who weighs 200lbs with 100lbs of mucle (So the same amount of muslce, just fatter). Doesn't the protein help with muscle growth and have nothing to do with fat. I may be wrong, this question may make no sense, but I just thought I would throw it out there.
I may be wrong (I gotta read more) But if protein is what helps muscle growth, then wouldn't protien be more based on how much muscle mass you have?
