First time post:

Anybody used this before (VPX Glucosa Cream)? I trashed my knee when I was in the Marines. I thought everything was good to go. I had no problems with it for like two years. Working out with sets of 315-490 on squats/230+ on power cleans, but last nite I was playing around with my old lady, I picked her up (she weighs about 140, shes pretty tall)and was walking to the bedroom (you know what I was intending to do) and when I went to toss her on the bed, there was this horrific pop my knee rotated to the side a bit and a loud grinding noise came from it. Needless to say I dropped her and fell to the floor immediately holding my knee. It didn't hurt THAT bad. But I know I definitely done something. I was up walking (more like limping) around in 10 minutes. Even though it kept me up last nite it isnt hurting badly, nor has it swelled up really bad. Today I'm walking around like I got raped by a 900lb gorrilla. Even though I got an appointment with my sports medicine doctor dude, I thought it would be a good idea to take some glucosimine-condroitin to help strengthen up my ****. I am obviously trying to avoid surgery. I do not want to lose my size or strength by sitting out of the gym. My lateral stability has been shakey a bit since I first hurt my knee 3.5 years ago, but I have had no pain from simple forward/backward/up/down movements like squats and powercleans.

What are your thoughts on this? Any other recommendations? Thanks for the help.

Griff

laterally dislocated patella ?

don't worry too much

you'll be unable to train legs for several weeks but you shouldn't lose any upper body size

by the time the glucosamine kicks in you'll be recovered
