Just out of curiousity (i'm a bodybuilder (supposedly) and not a powerlifter)...

...what would a respectable total be for an 18year old in a powerlifting comp?as in bench squat and deads!

Thanks

Respectable.
Bench 45lbs.
Deads 45lbs.
Anyone that enters a meet gets my respect.

Relentless

Adam has a good point.

Definitely respect to anyone with the guts to enter.

If you're looking for more of an expected total compared to other lifters, you can browse the competition results on various powerlifting websites.

By and large, weight/size is more important than age, as a 225lb 18-yr old ought to be lifting more than a 150lb 18-yr old
