i know u guys all love natty PB but i am on a budget, so i just buy stop and shop brand reduced fat peanut butter. it has 12g of total fat, 2g of saturated fat, 140mg of sodium, 13g of carbs, 2g of fiber, 3g of sugar, and 9g of protein. Would i be better off payin more money and gettin the natty ****, or is this peanut butter okay. if it helps, soy protein is listed under the ingredients?

just buy plain ol' natty PB ingredients-roasted peanuts

The ingredients should read: peanuts, oil, salt, or peanuts, oil.

Adams Natural Peanut butter is a good brand but it is a bit pricey.

Natty PB is best, but if you can't get that don't bother getting the "reduced fat PB." The whole point of PB is that it is a good fat, so getting a "reduced fat" version is kinda defeating the purpose.

Plus, that version you described has a lot more carbs per serving than regular PB. If you can't get natty PB just get regular skippy. TECHNICALLY is has trans-fat in it, but it has such a small amount that it is basically negligible.

Do NOT buy fat reduced PB. They replace the fat with sugar.
