Have a look at my journal for pertinent info. (http://www.wannabebigforums.com/showthread.php?t=60952)
What I would like to know is...what is the optimum amount of carbs I should be shooting for in my diet to fuel my workouts? I want to lose weight but I don't want to decrease muscle mass...I want to increase it. My nutritionist says that at my current diet levels and carb intake (mostly with M1) that I'm not getting the most "bang for my buck" when I workout at 3 pm. He says that my carbs are pretty low and that my workout will be robbing my muscles for energy thus making the workouts have a detrimental effect.
Thoughts?
