Day One: Chest/Triceps
Day Two: Rest
Day Three: Back/Biceps
Day Four: Rest
Day Five: Shoulders
Day Six: Legs

Basically a push/pull/legs routine, but I want to see if anyone out there thinks there is a better way of organizing this split. Please back any suggestions up with some sort of reasoning (i.e. don't post your personal preference). Thanks.

put shoulders with chest and tricep. everything else looks good.

Any reason why? That is a lot of work for day one.

It does seem like a lot of work, but when working out your chest you are working your delts and triceps at the same time. This way you won't be doing as much direct shoulder/tricep exercises.

I disagree, your split looks good. Don't change it.

It depends on the amount of volume you are training with.

For example I train chest, shoulders and tri's together but I do a total of 6 sets for this whole workout day.. If you are doing moderate to highish volume it would be too much work yes..

I agree with yates it looks good I would not change it.. I have too worked with a split exactly the same as this with good results.. I am assuming day 7 is a rest day right? If so it looks like a good split to me. If I was to return to a 4 day split again I would do this one too.
