im having a lan party with a few mates tomorrow night. never had one at my place before so this is a new experience. just wondering, generally how many computers can you fit to one ciruit without it tripping?
im having it in my garage and its only one circuit, there are gonna be about 8-10 of us so will i need to run a couple of extension leads from other rooms?

Computers draw jack ****. You should have no problems whatsoever with 8-10.

that's good to know. I'm actually having my annual spring lan party at the end of the month and first year at my house...was worried too...

Should work out. I've had as many as 40 people one time and it jumped teh elec bill up by 200+ Dollaz, However it was like a 30+Hr Q3/UT frag / Warcraft3 fest, so thats understandable. :O

The purpose of a LAN party is to be able to frag your buddy who is sitting right behind you in the room, and then turn around and say: "Haha!...What a F---ing noob!"

Also, it's just fun being there together with all your friends in person. Order some pizza, and you're all set.

The whole thing sounds very closet homo-erotic, no offense to those who enjoy it...lol

Reminds me of the last group fishing trip I went on, and one guy brought out the TV and pron tapes. I was like...uhhhh..I gotta go roast marshmallows and shiznit. Others quickly followed suit. Porn is not a group activity.

Dunno bout you, but the last LAN party I went to had lots of females in attendance...some of which were pretty cute (too bad their boyfriends were there too, hehe). It's a hobby for people who enjoy computer gaming, nothing to do with homosexuality.
