Alright, I don't want to set off that whole carbs-at-night debate, but I'm just wondering what the best source of carbs are for a meal around 9pm. I have dinner at around 6:30 and a snack before bed at about midnight, but i need another snack/small meal (about 300-350 cals) at about 9.
Is it ok to have brown rice or oatmeal at this time, or would yogurt or fruit be better? (low gi fruit)
I'm bulking by the way, but still want to be sensible about diet.

both would be fine...a little bit of brown rice/oatmeal and some fruit is a pretty legit snack meal for 9 PM...

If you look, you'll see my response wasn't directed at you.
Personally, I say oats, but it doesn't matter much.

I'm a big fan of oats and cottage cheese. And egg whites. All blended together and made into waffles.
Mmmm...
