When your in a bulking stage......do you want to increase your Calories (500-1000 more each day) and keep your grams of Fat at a minimal while also taking in alot of protein and carb?
Ive always been confused about this....
Increase everything. Keep your same ratios (assuming they were good to begin with). Although try to get your new extra fats from good sources omega-3's and 6's. Fish oil, olive oil, flax seed oil, ect. You can also find these in assorted nuts.

If you don't currently get enough fat, adding things such as Chase suggested is an excellent way to increase your calories with ease.
Also, I'd suggest perhaps increasing your calories a little slower than an immediate 1000 a day. Perhaps increase your daily intake by a few hundred weekly, ultimately shooting for about 1/2lb weight gain per week.
Yes, a immediate jump of 1000 calories a day may seem overwhelming making you less likely to stick to it.

Fat is definitely vital to the bulking stage; be sure not to put it at 'minimal' amounts.
