I was hoping we could build a reference of official photos of people at certain BF%'s .

Only post your picture and BF. If you've had your BF professional tested and you know its accurate.
Or MAYBE, if you've used multiple methods... like BF scale and caliper and you're confident in your ability to be accurate.

So requirements:
# 1 - Photo of body in bathing suit (boxers/bikini/etc)
# 2 - accurate BF %
# 3 - height
# 4 - weight
# 5 - notes: BF testing method, or other notes that could be important.

I calipered out at 3.9% on the same day of this photo. Although I didn't really have much muscle so I don't look that low. 5'10 162+/-

Wow!! You look smaller!!! What a drastic difference dropping BF can make

Well it was almost 3 years and 60 pounds ago lol. Dropping bodyfat this time should make me look bigger, I hope.

BCC, its strange how good your chest looks in sidechest, it looks wider and fuller, then in other poses.

It also amazing that you didnt use cardio to get that low, props for that!

ok too much yapping..... and only 1 picture!! more pics & stats.... less yapping! :) I'm going to caliper and BF scale myself tonight and post a picture.... I was hoping this could be a BF % reference guide... (not discussion! )

will edit picture & BF% stats in tonight hopefully.

That's all tricks of posing rock. I'm pushing my left bicep into my left pec in that picture to raise it up more. I still do the same thing and it makes it look huge.

if we cleaned this up we could get it looking a lot better, with just the people who post pics or whatever, anyways

11-13% bf caliper tested, 3 step said 6%, 7 step said 7%, so i just went with what the card that came with it said, 12%

pics were taken at 6' 1/2" 195lbs


last 3 are updated, about a month after the first ones, maybe dropped a % bf tops, switching to a diff. diet(UD2.0) and doing a ECG stack soon for about the next month because im not thrilled with my first months progress

Ok here are my pics & stats as of yesterday after eating like a pig 2 days in a row... (lots of water retention)

#1 - Photo = CLICK (http://www.wannabebigforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=15956)
#2 - BF = 15.2 % (average of 2 methods)
#3 - Height= 6' 0"
#4 - Weight= 178.0

#5 - Notes:
3 point electronic caliper = 14.8%
Tanita body fat scale read = 15.6%

Other stats:
30 years old,
before diet max: 315x1 flat, 325x1 decline, 265x2 incline

probably lost about 15lbs of strength. max is probably 300x1 now, not bad for losing 20lbs of bodyweight and 2" off waistline. (34 to 32)

I seem to have a layer of fat on my midsection no matter what. My legs, arms and chest are all lean with some definition, but my abs suck still. :( Another 5-10lbs and I'll repost stats.

edit: biceps flexed = 16" (per request below) - trying to keep thread clean.

i have around 7-8% bodyfat tested by calipers....but still can't really see all my abs unless I'm flexing them..it sucks. lots of separation and veins in my arms/legs, but can't se the abs

These were taken today...I'm 6'1/2" 172 lbs. I was wrong about bf..it's actually around 8.5% tested with multiple pt. calipers (even did face) it's tough to flex and take picture at the same time lol

Dude you're under 10% thats lean. And I can see your abs very EASILY. It might not be a "perfect" deep cut 6 pack, but it looks pretty good.

Whats amazing is I keep losing weight, but I think I still look "fat". I was down to 173.0 today, before today being a cheat day and I guess to be "ripped" I might have to be 165 which seems very light. Considering I'm 6' and bench 300lbs. (skinny "runners" legs)

If you're losing weight and still look fat I would assume you are losing a lot of muscle, but not much of anything else. 6'0" 165 is really skinny unless you're sub 8% bodyfat and still you'd be skinny, except ripped. Maybe you should re-evaluate your diet because it doesn't sound like you're getting the desired results.

Actually, I've lost almost 25lbs from my heaviest, (198'ish to about 173 now) I can see a huge difference. I'm just being finicky like an anorexic chick. :) I can see the definition starting to come through on my stomach. Figuring out my BF then and now, I think I've lost about 20lbs of fat and about 5lbs of LBM. It just pisses me off that I'm lean everywhere except lower abs. I'm going to be reposting my BF and photos when I hit 170lbs a few days in a row.

im actually going to start a ECG(Ephedrine-Caffeine-Green Tea Extract) stack in about a week coupled with UD2.0 diet and lifting regimine, let that go for a month and see what happens, because im not happy with my cutting results for my first month, ive lost only about 4 lbs, after dropping my calories over the time from 4500 to 2500, and im still getting stronger, but not much leaner at all, although a little bit that i have noticed, my pics i posed of me were before my cut, but dude it is always the hardest to loose in the love handles and abs, that is just the way it goes with guys

in anycase ill let u know how it goes, and maybe u might wan to try what i do after im done

Personally, I think you should spend a little less time in the Anabolic Forum and a little more in the Diet one. Haven't you run a few cycles? And you're 6' 173 and NOT totally shredded? Seriously bud, look into your diet.
