Soy protein releases estrogen or sometthing like that? And my friend told me Soy protein comes from Soya Beans. I love soya beans, but if they have soy protein (evil protein :evillaugh) I don't want to eat them. Can someone fill me in on this?

i dont think phytoestrogens actually do anything to you.
besides, just cook whatever it is you're eating and there wont be any phytoestrogens anymore (i.e soy hotdogs, etc..)

Not to get into the big debate that can start raging with this topic, BUT.. some studies have shown soy to block testosterone, promote estrogen, inhibit muscle growth ect. All fine for the average Joe out there, but not for bodybuilders. Other studies have shown tons of benifits from it. Personally I stay away from it for medical reasons and because you are already eating TONS of soy everyday without knowing it, it's in almost every food out there these days if you read the ingrediants.

Of course soy protein comes from soy beans. It is not "evil". Some studies have even shown that eating soy protein can reduce estrogen in men. I suggest you do a search as I have posted these studies many times in the past.
