View Full Version : Lighter Lift - Lose Muscle?

My last post was about eating more to give me more energy but in the last week of eating more I have gained like anoth 1.5%bf and I was wondering if I toned my lifting routine down a bit if it would affect the muslce I already have. I wanna tone it down so I can not be so tired for work but I really don't wanna lose the gains I have already made. I am also going to add cardio. I don't really want to get any bigger. Does this sound like a good option or will I see a loss in the mass I have gained?

Higher reps lower wieght and not till failure. Right now I am doing mostly low reps high weight and to failure. It's killin me. Today I did high rep low weight and I had a little more energy but I didn't get much sleep last night. Gonna try it for a while and see how I feel.

I think you'd probably be better off playing with your volume.
