I am around 230-240 pounds and I found from a formula (BW x 12 = cutting calorie intake) that my calorie intake for cutting should be around 2800 or so (will start with that and reduce as I stop making progress). I know that I should try to consume 1g of protein for every pound I weigh. I am not very sure about carbs or fat. Could someone tell me what percentage of my calories should come from carbs, fat, and protein? I know that a good diet is the most important factor in getting into better shape, but unfortunately I know the least on that subject. I want to start tomorrow with a good clean diet, since tomorrow I am starting a running routine that I found on a recent thread here. Any help is appreciated.

Also if I follow advice given and continue to lift and follow the running routine (found HERE (http://www.teenbodybuilding.com/brent2.htm) btw) how much weight/fat should I expect to lose in 18 weeks or so? Just wondering.
