Sometimes im not able to get to the gym, so i wont go every other day, i end up going every two days. How bad is this for my gains?? I feel bad, but im a server and if i work a 10+ hour shift my body cant take working out before that or after that because working that long just wears you out.

Every second day is great as long as you're not doing the same body parts each session, if you were posting that you hit the gym everyday that would be hurting your gains.

you'd still get your 3 workouts a week in so i don't think it matters.

Major muscle groups really dont need a full 7 days to recover, 72+ hours is plenty.

my point was wbb is a 3 day routine and if he did it every 2 days he'd still get 3 workouts a week in.

Exaclty. Just because a muscle doesnt NEED a full week to recover doesnt mean giving it a week is going to be a bad thing. I have made good progress on a similar routine.

IMO, muscle recovery varies by person. I think some people can recover faster than others.

ya for me my chest is usually in pain for up to 4 days after a chest workout....I know DOMS is not an indication of growth but it is one of telling if your ready for another workout, well if there is pain...meaning pain still=dont workout

I know my post got confusing im tired....sleep for me
