He's 5'10, and yes he does look 230. It's mostly in those monster legs...I have the same problem with my 241 @ 6'1.

I think your legs look great for your time lifting. You'll be a squat monster soon enough. Are your calves proportionate? I couldn't tell from the pics.

Very large, especially for your fairly short time of lifting. Your friend looks like he could be your brother.

LOL at your editing out teh bulge

It still looks to me like he's got you in sheer size, but you're definitely more cut. He really isn't holding a lot of bodyfat in the legs, though, and certainly not enough to make up for the difference in size.

I could be wrong I guess, but I blew them both up to the same size pics to compare. Maybe someone else will give an opinioin. Also, he's got more fat in general than you do, which would put him at 230.

Very nice legs and back, but your arms seem to be lagging a little. Maybe it's just because of how wide you are that they LOOK smaller. Excellent job for only 7 months, though!

Sorry I took so long to reply guys, but I've been keeping a close eye on the thread. I really appreciate all of the feedback -- it means a LOT to me.

Hockey66,
Thanks, man. I checked out your pics and you're looking pretty good yourself. Keep up the hard work. It's tough, but you know it'll be worth it.

latinomasfino,
Thanks. Yes, I'm certainly 230lbs. Although I will admit, it does fluctuate between 225-230, it just depends when in the day I weigh myself.

mrelwooddowd,
Thanks dude. Much appreciated. Truth be told, my calves are not up to par with the quads/hams. I'm working on them though... I hear calves are largely genetic. You'll see some people who never stepped foot in a gym sometimes with huge calves; others, who've been lifting for a while, with lagging calves. It's crazy.

I've actually been taking my calf work much more seriously lately in hopes of having them grow. A little trick I learned is to do all of your calf work with no shoes on -- it allows you to engage in a more complete range of movement, therefore working every last part of the calf. Or at least, more so than if you had shoes on.

Beast,
Thanks a lot. Yeah -- Nick is the man. He's been my best friend for as long as I can remember, and is great lifting partner. A lot of people say that too; we get the "are you two brothers?" quite a bit.

Guido,
Thank you. Yes, the arms could definitely be better. I'll have to re-evalute my arm routine sometime, I appreciate you mentioning this. Right now they measure out to 16" but that's obviously partly due to my bodyfat percentage. Keep up the great work yourself, dude...

DiViNa99,
Thank you very much. It's a never ending project, I guess.

briancurran01,
Thanks man. I guess I'd consider them to be my best features.

Gabrielle,
Thanks... I know it hasn't been too long just yet, but I love the whole bodybuilding lifestyle. I couldn't imagine what I'd do without it now.

body,
Thanks man. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure... although I was definitely on the road to becoming a fat ass. Thankfully, I corrected that.

no regrets,
Thanks, glad you like them.

Once again, thanks everyone. I wasn't expecting so many replies! :D

Kingair,
Thanks, man. Appreciated. You just gotta love leg day. ;)

pfc3rex,
As I said above to body, I'm not quite sure what my starting stats/measurements were before. All I do know, however, is that I was slowly becoming a fat ass and figured it was time to correct that. Last summer, I got into lifting, and then I eventually became interested in the bodybuilding lifestyle (proper diet, routine, supplementation). I certainly don't see myself quitting anytime soon.
