What's the best type of thing to eat after either cardio or HIIT? I want to prevent muscle lost since I'm bulking right now (I'm only doing cardio once or twice a week.)

Should I go with straight sugar/protein like PWO? Or slow burning carbs like oatmeal?

Treat it the same way as you would a workout.

I would take whey protein with some maltodextrin or dextrose.
