Sometimes the hardest part about eating more is feeling like the food from my last meal hasn't even digested before I eat the next one.

For example...how long would you wait between consecutive 400 calorie meals? Sometimes I need to eat one like 2 hours after the last one, and I still feel full.....

Two hours is usually plenty of time for me. My "meals" are usually 6-800 calories. It takes time to get used to it, especially if you're used to three meals per day.

i've been doing 5-6 meals a day and absolutely REFUSE to go longer than 3hrs without food... even if i have to pull over to nosh on hay and cow-pies (which is a real possibility where i live). each meal is 400-500 cals.

Eat when you don't feel full. If you're full all the time, you'll need to train your body to accept more food.

drink more water. water is key to digesting that much food that frequently.
i'm often hungry in under 90mins after a meal.

Good advice from Shao-Lin there. Personally I could eat 400 calories and be ravenous 10 minutes later.

It took some time but my body got used to eating so frequently. I eat every 2 hours and if I go much longer than that I am usually starving.
