are their any ice creams that are alright for you to eat. Theirs so many like no sugar added, low carb, 98%NF things like that. Are any of these good?

I really enjoy the Edy's sugar-free, it's made with Splenda. I think Breyers also has either a Splenda or Nutrasweet version as well that I've tried. I can hardly taste the difference. I'd stay away from Fat Free varieties since they'll probably be loaded with sugar.

o ok so i should look for no sugar added or things like that instead of fat free? I saw a 98% fat free one w/ no sugar added it had 1.5g fat and 5g sugar per serving.

I've had sugar free chapmans, and it tasted awesome. Of course I haven't really tried a specifically labelled, "low carb" option, but the only things in life I've encountered that are low carb and don't taste like **** is meat and poultry.

Sugar free ice cream, IMO, is generally better as far as low calorie is concerned. The low carb stuff, from what I could tell from reading the labels, is usually higher in cals (more fat for some reason) than the sugar free stuff.

its because they usually replace the sugar with fats to keep the flavors.

my mom gets that Breyers Carb Smart stuff is ower cal. its 90 cals per 1/2 c. for almost all flavors which is 30 cals lower than most ice creams.

I bought an ice cream maker, and I make my own with splenda. Homemade chunky monkey, baby.

I`d eat it every day too, but you have to watch for all those sugar alcohols. Some folks find they hinder fat loss, and they cause some serious digestive issues.. *burp*
