Happens to me sometimes by people/friends who have no idea how big proper use of steroids actually makes you. I take it as a flattering compliment. I reassure them that I'd be a lot bigger, and that I am unable to afford it. That usually gets them to leave me alone.

I get asked sometimes. I've had people on this board accuse me of it, which is kinda flattering even though it's often not meant that way. I choose to take it as a compliment.

I have been askd that last year, when I was lifting and eating like a fiend.
My answer was "Dude, I'm natty homes"
His response was: "Wow, so how long are you at the gym(day/week)?"
Me: "About 2h/day, 6x/week"
Him: "Calories?"
Me: "~4600-4800"
Him: "Oh" **Walks off to the treadmill** (he's a cardio nut/curl jockey) that doesn't eat enough. :/
Felt kinda bad because the kid tries. He won't eat though, lol.
I'm just glad I gain easily as when a former fatty hits the gym, the mass gains are downright GangSTA. :D

Ive never been accused but I dont know whats said behind my back either... I would hope that steroids would get me stronger then I am and I dont look cut or anything. If you never knew I lifting you might think i was just a lazy weak slob and I take on more the bulky gorilla appearnce. I think roids make you cut and im not cut... im big but not cut. And like I said, if roids only got me to 300lbs bench press they were some crappy roids.

ya, me being in high school, and me being able to gain muscle very easily, the steroid question comes up a lot with those skinny bastard curl jockeys, and this is my answer: "ya i usually have injection parties in the lockerroom after school, we share syringes and steroids, u can come if u want." that usually tells them off...

The owner of the gym that I go to came up and told me one day that there had been numerous heated debates at the juice bar on whether or not I'm on the sauce. He knows I'm natural so he defended me. There is this one guy who asks me every week while I deadlift "Come on man, level with me, what are you on? I won't tell nobody, just level with me". I give him a different answer every week, one week I told him my secret was goat cheese, another time I gave him an hour long dissertation on the benefits of flax seed oil. I used to take it as an insult, well I still do but I have a sense of humor about it now.

A friend of mine has insane genetics for gaining muscle while staying lean. This guy came up to him while we were shooting the breeze and asked him what he was on to achieve that and he told the guy it was bull testicles. The guy actually believed him. I think because he's Mexican the guy must've thought it's some old folk thing. A week later the guy came up saying he couldn't find any bull testicles and asking where to get them. lol

I've only gotten it from little kids I was playing basketball with. I can't see how anyone, on gear or not, would take it as an insult. I mean sure, they're accusing you of taking an 'easy route' or something to that extent, but isn't the ultimate goal to appear jacked? Who cares how they think you got there, they're jealous either way.

Its not that I am soooo Big...its more along the lines of Everyone else is sooooo small and couldnt bench 100 if their lift depended on it...Plus I don't look as strong as I really am...

hahaha that's great.
Pretty often, actually, though I doubt anyone with a little muscle know-how would ever think I was using gear. I'm really cut and have oversized arms; ten to twenty more pounds, and it would be a little more reasonable to wonder if I was juicing. Most people who ask are people who haven't seen me in a while, or people who have no idea what is possible if you work hard, have good genetics, and eat right.
that's funny. who the hell would accuse a 150 lb teenager of juicing? the majority of people just don't know anything about lifting, stupid questions are expected.

A 100lb ten year old?

Never been accused of it. Wish I was big enough to be, though. I'm naturally very very lean, so every extra lb has to be fought for.

lol, that's what i was thinking.

Was having a pub lunch (rare cheat day) recently- previous to that i'd bought a tub of whey which was in a almost see-through bag, which i had next to me. I heard a bloke at another table mumble something along the lines of "bloody steriod muncher".. On turning round, he was around late 20's with a t-shirt that highlighted his pot belly and skinny arms and was sat with two women (or at least i think they were female).. i just smirked and turned back around.. waster.. (i'm natural for the record).

I get asked by co-workers quite often. I find it a bit floattering to be a non roid user and others think I must be.
Near my best physical shape my doctor didn't directly accuse me of it, but i don't think he believed me when I said I wasn't.
Doc:"I have to ask as your physician, do you or have you used any steroids?"
Me:"No, I don't have any desire to."
Doc:"You weigh 295 pounds NATURALLY?!?"
Me:"Yeah, I eat a lot"
Doc:"You know I'm not here to judge or get anyone in trouble, but I NEED to know if you are."
Me:"I understand."
*pause*
Doc:"So you DON'T use anything?"
Me:"No."
*doc scribbles in his notepad*
I only get frustrated if someone who uses accuses me off it. I have no problem with the person using, good for him or her.

I've been asked. Lots of times by kids (high school age) that I've seen in the gym for the first time or so. They don't usually last at the gym long. They want to be huge immediately.
A longtime friend I hadn't seen in a while asked me, but seemed satisfied when I laughed and told him no. I took that to mean that I was making decent gains.

My aunt accused me 2 nights ago. When it was just her and I in the kitchen because I was helping her serve something (big family dinner), she whispers "Are you taking the steroids?!?!". I found it quite amusing because I am in no way "big", which I explained to her. She said it's just that I got double the size since January (also not true), so I took it as a compliment.

I have dumb chicks who say "are you on steroids denny? do you have a small penis?"
then other boys will be like "here comes creatine boy" "yeah denny, you're lucky you're on creatine or I could take you"

The question I find most flattering is the one asked when I am standing in the cage with my weights racked heavy and ready to go. A gym acquaintance will come up to me, look at the weights, and say, "Leg day?"
I shake my head. "No. Shoulders."
