Am looking for some knowledgeable answers on how to proceed with a bulking program:

Here's my situation: I am a hard-gainer who is 4 weeks into an 8-wk bulking program. I currently am using: Ergo Pharm's 1-AD (1 cap. 3x/day = 300 mg. total/day), creatine (5-10 gr/day), Isopure protein shakes (3x/day...each of which also contains 4.6 gr. of L-glutamine), and milk thistle capsules (280 mg/day). I increased my protein intake dramatically when I began the program....am consuming approx. 240-250 gr/day most days. Over the 1st 2 and half weeks of the program I gained an amazing 10 lbs (mostly lean mass tho lost a bit of tone in abs) and I have increased my strength on most exercises anywhere from 25-40%. (For example, I am now curling 60-65-lb. dumbbells, compared with 45 lb. before this program.) As for my weight, I began this program at 178 and am now back to my previous all-time peak of a very solid 188. Goal is to get to 200, but problem is, my gains seem to have stopped over the past week....I seem to have stabilized at around 188, and my strength gains seem to have stopped as well, tho not dropped.

Here's what I've got to work with: approx. 4 more weeks of 1-AD. I also have a 25-gr. container of 4-Androstenediol powder, and a 12-gr. container of 1-testosterone powder. Would you suggest stacking either (or both?) of these with my 1-AD, and if so, what dosage, since it is in powder form? Or would it make more sense to temporarily stop my 1-AD for 3-4 weeks, and try starting up again fresh to finish the final 4 weeks -- hoping to repeat the 10-lb. gain I had initially?

I am seriously committed to reaching this 200 goal, so any thoughts would be appreciated.....especially from anyone with first-hand experience with 1-AD.

Did you read the sticky on 1-AD, 4-AD, and 1-test above?

If you say you gained 10lb and most of it was LBM, then you need to up your calories some more as your maintenance requirements have most likely gone up. In other words, DIET is your problem.

1-ad = 1-test. so dont take the 1-test. Just save it for later if you want. Unless youre having problems with libido or fatigue.....throw away the 4-ad.

Borris -- yeah, read all 9 pages. found some of it useful, but generally was more confused after reading it than before.

Shansen -- just what i needed to hear, when i'm already eating so much I'm feeling bloated and lethargic all day long. : ) but thanks....i'll work on shoveling some more in. just not sure how much longer i can keep gorging. i almost puke now when i even hear the word "egg." LOL

I find the best stack for 1 ad to be on top of any issues of flex you may have placed in the garbage.

Question on sides....Is mild nausea and upset stomach normal for being on 1-AD, especially in morning?

I've not heard of that, but most people I know that have tried 1-AD use transdermal applications.

You taking it with food?

Yeah, am taking it immediately following a full meal....and per Shansen I've increased my daily calorie intake...thanks for the advice -- it's working. Now up to 193 (gained 15 lbs. over past 4.5 weeks, with 3.5 weeks to go...pushing for 200). Nausea not as bad this morning, but definitely a problem for past week or so....maybe just body's way of rebelling against all the added food (?). And even tho I've been taking the 1-AD capsules orally, would opening the capsules and dissolving them in a transport matrix for transdermal application be more effective enough to justify the trouble? If so, can I mix that and 4-AD together?

Ive taken 1-AD many times and I haven't had any real bad sides. I can't think of any sides really. Just drink lots of water, keep eating and lifting hard.

Just keep taking them orally. Dont open em up.
