hello all I'm a college freshman here trying to cut.
the freshman 15 doesn't slowly creep up on you.. it bitch slaps you in the face as a 1 month gift haha

i guess this will help me cut becuas ei've tried many times before.. i was successful once when i dropped down to 160.. long ago.

i'm going to try to cut til 175
~ 2000 calories a day (fitday says i need like 2500 or somehitng)
~ 200 g protein a day

wish me luck

and any suggestions for a newb?

hey man, you sound like me haha. if you check out the beginning of my journal, i was a sophomore (i think) and i was fat as hell. 1.5 years later... 55lbs up on bench... 130lbs up on deadlift... 65lbs up on squat. I went from 175 of flab to 180lbs of muscle (more or less). You have hope yet young jedi.... just keep the workouts consistent and the diet clean.
