i was looking forward to it until i heard the first single. didn't like it at all. i might download the album later on.

I think it's a good cd. It's worth getting/downloading even if you're not a a huge NIN fan.

It F^$&ing rocks. I will say it is a different sound for them. But still good.

I will definitely agree that it is a bit different. I'd wager it's about as "upbeat" as Trent can get. I don't find the album very dark at all.
