ok new journal time and this time i will keep it up as much as i possibly can.. back in AZ for good but not all my choice i admit, but the drama is over and im finally getting settled.

quick run down on things right now.
1. back is messed up pretty bad cant squat over 225 without extreme pain, no deads lately either.
2.my RC is feeling better and letting me press heavy once again
3. weight sucks since ive been back its been fast food everyday and worse PIZZA, i gained back 13 lbs mostly fat :( but im trying to change that now.

Hey lilmase... try some reverse hyperextensions for back rehab. I hear those are really good. You don't have to to go out and purchase the $1000 version from Louis Simmons... try getting one of those big exercise balls and and put it on a table. I dunno, be creative hehe. Anyway, good luck on the back rehab.

make sure your back is a little rounded when you're hanging off the side. it's supposed to open up the discs in your lower back and to let blood and spinal fluid in. that's what louis simmons says at least... i'll take his word for it.

not a bad coupel of w/os my back w/o on monday felt strong although i couldnt go as heavy as i would have liked on BO rows due to the back but still a good pump throughout.. my w/o today with legs was good the peg press seems to be working but not as much as the squat does but i will have to wait to get back into that when my back heals up. ok soo thanks everyone for posting i will get to youguys and gals comments later when i gave more time so until next time ..

man for me going kinda light today it was a hell of a w/o but that could be cause i got a lil wasted lastnight and it could be i didnt really eat before i went except for a kit kat but man it felt good.. my technique on bench is feeling nice and tight (thanks CP) nice steady and slow with every rep hitting my chest (no bouncing what so ever) ok until tomorrow where i will either hit some delts or back who knows... thanks for everyones support it means a lot

heh, anyways, great workouts bro. I was totally unaware you started a new journal. See how often I'm on here snooping these days. Anyways, tomorrow... er... today (since it's 2am) we're hitting Bis, Tris, and Hammy's right? I normally wouldn't do hammy's today but I didn't get time to do 'em with my squat workout.

I'm starting with 30mins elliptical, then the workout, and adding some calf raises and abs in at the end of the workout, then 30 more mins of elliptical. You don't gotta stay for all of it.. but that's just a heads up to what I'm doin... gimme a ring around 530ish and we'll chat.

If you can catch Southwest Airlines tuesday-thursday, they normally have really good rates ($99/each way, or something along those lines). Plus my roommate works at Amerisuites/Hyatt and can get a good discount.

for some reason ive been feeling sick but like no fever or nothing. just out of nowhere i hurled like 4 times yesterday and after that i felt good to go. so i went to the gym feeling just weird like not sick but not all good to go either.

Yeah, man. You aren't using any chalk??! It makes such a huge difference, man. I went from being able to do 445 up to 545 on rack pulls just because of chalk.

Nice on those rows and pulldowns, though, masey. Thems is some good weights you hittin'.

stack- its weird bro it actually feels ok right now. i did rack pulls and i havent been able to do any deadin past 185 for a while and 225 didnt hurt at all, these squats were like nothing. but im still scared to hurt it again maybe like 3 more months and ill start going heavy again.. thanks alot though man

ryu- yeah im thinkin about it but i rather just be natural and have my grip strong the old fashioned way.. but at this rate it may take a couple years :(

ok my weight is back in the 180s and climbing 1lbs per day so far and im abrely taking in 2700 cals or so a day (mostly clean btw) . so tonight i was 184.6 but that is after everything i ate tonight and the gallon and a half or so of water ive been drinking which is making me feel soo dang bloated all the time i feel like crap but in the morning all dried out i look pretty impressive not trying to sound arrogant but i weigh as much as i did in denver but lower bf (not by much) but i am still looking more massive with a few veins in my right delt area where it meets my chest and my left bicep on the inside. all in all im gonna be huge and i dont care if i hit 200 on this bulk :D

Awesome workout bro! Next time I'm taking it a little easier on the weight on Leg Press so it doesn't blast my back as hard. I'll concentrate alot more on form next time, even though I don't think it was that far off tonite. Anyways, by doing that it'll allow me to hit the squats and hack squats better. This time I'm starting with 185 instead of ending with it, and on the hack squats I'm starting with 225 instead of ending with it. Same with the leg extensions, I ended with 225, so next time I'll either start with that, or one below.

Overall, that workout whipped both our asses! I'm pumped to do it again on saturday. I'm even more pumped for this chest workout tomorrow!!!! w00t!

ok well i took last week off and this lst weekend due to some bad news the doc gave me.. Its nothing serious now but i guess when i was doing those crazy volume workouts i had an ear infetcion and a minor case of the flu which would explain my lethargy and depressed appetite. i mean i did not want to eat for a damn, and i never wanted to do anything. If it werent for jake pushing me to go w/o i dont thihnk i would have these last 2 weeks.. ok well i also got some blood work done to make sure im up to par with everything, doc says i got nothing to worry about but its a precaution i choose to take.. alright well i trained lastnight nothing spectacular just goin into it very light and easy but i felt good i had good motivation and i went through my whole w/o just fine tonight will be delts and i will see how a little more intensity does for me..

The body has a very strange way of reacting to stuff and trying to compensate etc...13lbs is an awful lot of weight to be losing at one time, wish you the best in health and miss you up in here too. well i took yesterday off since im gonna be going 2on 1off for my new split. no extra time off for a while unless unavoidable. (who knows lately) on a lighter note but kinda sad i calculated my cal intake and im taking in anywhere between 2200 to 2500 cals a day (varies depending on my shakes with milk) and its just sad how i can be 185-187 and maintain and even gain weight on cals taht low. i feel stuffed and loaded all day every day and im only eating 2k+ cals a day. i know a lot of you are thinkin F this lil dude he should be happy he gains so easily but when it comes time to cut for real its just not something im looking forward too.. oh well we work with what we got right....

woohoo weight was up today to 188.6 but it could also be from my massive eating and drinking today (2 gallons at least)after i found out i was only taking in 2200-2500 cals a day which may not be enough to get me to 210 by november. ok back w/o was great not in terms of #s but how i felt health wise first of no headaches :D and not much pain in my body save for some light cramping in my lower back but i didnt rest much at all in between sets maybe 1 min or longer as i was just so anxious for my next set. w/o was less than an hour.. oh yeah also with my new split i am changing my rep scheme i usually work in the 8-10 but since im doing thing s a lil diff now i said why not chng my reps too. soo except for warmups im gonna be working in the 6-8 range for a while and see how i feel with that..

Nice DB millies...I was up to 90's on those but then one of my PL team buddies said I might as well do them standing because it's much tougher and works your core at the same time. It definitely is tougher. I do 60's with those, will be moving up to 65's next w/o.

thanks guys... yeah 193 is huge alright biggest ive ever been. but i must say i am a lot more muscular than last time i was 190 maybe not as strong in my big 3 but overall i dont think ive ever been as strong.. yeah i dont have my digi no more i gave it back to my dad when i moved back to AZ. i really wanna try to get some pics up soon to show you guys. dont get me wrong ive got plenty of fat on me proably around 17-18% but i get compliments . one i get most is "you look like a wrestler" dont know why im not that big at least in my eyes but anytime i see people i havent seen in like 6 months there always liek damn you got so big blah blah blah.. Thing is i dont wanna be this big no more, i thought i did and i dont think i would mind but i miss being athletic. but i do wanna do one comp so i may just say F it and keep going till i hit 210 and than slow cut to keep my mass and hopefully be ready for a show mid next year..

Good looking workouts Masey. I find it interesting that your incline bench strength looks just as strong as your flat strength.
