yes i am nub sorry if this has been posted before but

Why do people bulk.. and not jsut cut til like 10% BF then work out alot?

im a total workout noob and iwas just wondering..

cuz not everyone is 20%+ bodyfat like yourself....

and bulking does not = getting fat

Bulking up involves working out, eating alot, getting stronger, gaining lean mass but also with some added fat.

Now, different people will have different results with each one of these as a result of their discipline, or lack of, genetics, clean diet, sloppy diet. There are so many variables.

The bottom line is that it is much easier to gain muscle mass by overeating, but the cost is that fat does accumulate over a period of time.

Bulking isn't just trying to get fat purely for the sake of geting fat.

Do you think that you only gain muscle if you are starting from a leaner bodyfat percentage? It may do wonders for your self esteem and motivation to get down to a low bodyfat percentage, but don't think that you can't gain that fat back when you are trying to gain more muscle.
