This will be my last deadlift day until I have stopped growing. I don't want to take my chances with spinal compression and stunted growth you know... ;) That's 300lbs. count 'em. I also tried 390, 370, and 350. About half way on the 350.

I'm confused. Isn't that 315 lbs?...unless your barbell weighs less than the standard 45 lbs.

Yeh, sure, you seem to be correct, must have smoked too many dead lifts. I guess I tried 405, 385, 365... My bad. Thanks buddy.

Nice dead man. I noticed you're track stats at the bottom. They're impressive. What can you do on Standing Long Jump?

LOL. I was thinking something along those lines. Decent deadlift for the stats, but very good for the age.

One of my friends can long jump close to 6 metres and jump 1.70 metres straight over a bar just tucking up his knees to his chest. He's insane.

Haha, yeh, no doubt Smurf. Well this summer we'll pump some together at least a bit. Hopefully our schedules work out 'cause I'll be in everyday...

Yes, he is. My the time hes older he'll be able to jump crazy high. If you have msn I could send you a video I have of him jumping over a mat that's about 5'6 tall, he does it easily too.

he should be able to long jump much farther than 6 m if he can jump over 1.70 by tucking his knees in lol...should work on his form.

my pb was 6.10 m in long jump a few weeks ago....but i did the pentathlon and I couldn't get any higher than 1.60 m for high jump lol...maybe it's my high jump that needs working

No one touched on this I think. It sounds like after 315 you jumped all the way up to 400+ so for injury prevention on all of your lifts. You should increase the wt gradually to see where your strength is.

well, looks like ive got the long jump title of WBB...my junior year i placed 2nd in the regional at 20 ft. 4" 1/4. i was never a great high jumper though...never got over 5'9". my 100m time was decent always hovered around 11.3...200 was about 22.3. couldnt run my senoir year, but i would have been a state qualifier for the long. now im angry. hey cra-z keep at it man lunges and squats always did my long jumping good. and calf raises. i always picked a point on the ground and tried to jump past it. let me know if i can give you any pointers bro

That's definitely true. I probably shouldn't have done that but whatever. I'm still alive and always learnin'. Thanks.

20 is pretty good man. I'll probably be able to do close to that anyway when I'm like 17 or so, I'm still growin' quite a bit.
