alright well im bout to start my frist cycle (500mg of test e/week) but i wanna limit the fat gain, i know im not gonna get leaner cuz of the water retention etc. but if i was taking ephedra would this be pointless?

If you want to cut water retention run some A-dex during your cycle. Make sure you have nolva on hand before you start. Don't take ephedra, you're trying to bulk! Good luck!

well to be honest with you im a little fatter than id like right now haha Bout 17% if i had to guess. so im trying to bulk (wanna get up to 270) and still be areound the same bf or even lower thats why i was thinking of ephedrine, plus its cheap

IMHO you should cut for a couple weeks cleanly and drop down to 15% or so. Then when you cycle bulk up with strictly clean food and don't go too overboard so you can minimize your fat gain.

Choose to either fully bulk or fully cut, man. It's a lot easier. ;)

Maybe you should do a nice cut and then do a clean bulk cycle / test cycle. That way you can take Clen, and you will not gain as much fat during the bulk.

alright well i need to start this soon, because im going on vactaion in the summer and i dont have time to cut becasue i dont wanna be in florida running my test and not lifting ya know? pl;us im going with the fam and i dont wanna take it down there with me, thats why i dont wnna cut right now.

IMO, do a cutting cycle with the test, remember its all in the diet...

Test is actually really effective for a cutting cycle. There are members on this board who have used it in combination with very low calorie diets to lean up quickly. Test and tren would be better for cutting but as they say, test is best.

Cutting involves trying to lose fat, while retaining muscle. It has nothing to do with bloat. Why WOULDN'T you be able to cut with test?

im aware of what cutting is but ive always thought that test is best when trying to gain and bulk up i.e. not too worirred about bf.

ok ok you guys are missing my point here. this is my FIRST cycle im not super knowledgable on aas, so ive always heard/read test was great for bulking up and putting on weight. i never sadi it wouldnt retarin muscle mass dl. go back and read.
i dont wanna cut, i wanna put on about 20lbs with and not gain TOO MUCH MORE FAT. thats whats going on

Dude. How many people have to tell you to simply use the cycle and not take the ephedrine. You want to take the ephedrine, i'm pretty sure you've already got your mind made up. So why keep posting? If you don't want to hear advice that doesn't support what you want to do then just take the ****ing stuff and as powerman said kwitchabitchin.

First of all, you're not going to gain 20 lbs of LEAN mass in just one cycle...highly unlikely anyway.

Second, ephedrine boosts your metabolism a bit, it doesn't do much else. Yeah sure, it's anti-catabolic, etc. etc., but you're going to be on gear anyway. In other words, instead of bulking on 4000 cals (if that's what you need to gain LBM), maybe you can go to 4200 instead. If that's worth it to you, then go for it.
