View Full Version : any way to figure out how many cals and grams of protien are in egg whites?

the numbers on fitday.com in regards to eggs is way off in regards to the eggs i have, so i was wondering if there was some formula or something that would give me a ball park on this.

ummmmmmmmm well let's say about 6 egg whites and one yolk is about 162 cals and 24g of protein don't know if that helped you a little :)

do you know how many grams of fat and carbs are in the 6 whites 1 yolk?

The eggs I eat are I think 5-7 grams of fat. I think 3-4 g are from the yolk. Not positive though.

No fat in the white. A large egg white is about 3.5-4g protein, about 17kcal. The whole egg (large) is about 70-75kcal, 5-6g protein, 5-6g fat. Values vary, depending on the size of the egg, and egg producers are vary a bit on their grading of egg sizes, but not that much.

Half the protein is in the white, other half in the yolk pretty much.

and the egg package has a nutrition label..it not, move to the US. it's better here anyway.
