I'm cutting and trying to find ways to spice up my veggies. Growin up, my mom would mix a TBspoon of starch with some milk to make creamed peas. The would thicken up and add more texture.
Does corn starch turn to fat?
I know to stay away from potatoes, white bread - and these have a lot of starch.
should I just throw some red pepper in the veggies instead of starch?
