I'm 5'7 3/4", about 154-155lbs...

for bulking and for cutting, what should be my respective cat/carb/protein distributions in terms of percentages? and how many total calories should i be consuming for each? any suggestions?

That's a very accurate height measurement :)

Eat at least 1g / lb of bodyweight in protein

Eat at least 20% of daily calories from healthy sources of fat, including EFAs - fish and flaxseed oils - olive oil, avocados, nuts, oily fish

The rest is personal preference.

The proportions don't matter AT ALL, although the timing DOES.

Calories matter, grams of protein matter, sufficient fat matters. The rest comes down to your own comfort levels.

speaking of timing, is it "bad" to consume protein in bunches? for instance, i consume the most in the morning when i have a meal and a shake, and then after a workout, when i have an additional shake and then dinner not long after that...i do this pretty much out of convenience. i get a good dosage of protein at lunch too, but in thsoe in between times, i get minimal protein.
