Well im finally getting close to getting back into the gym. I've had an injury that has kept me home and in bed for 2months. I am so damn skinny right now, im like 125lbs, 5'11 or 6ft, 17years old. Im about 3weeks or so away from getting back into the gym should I start bulking up already since im skin and bones? Or should I wait untill I actually get into the gym. I lost alot weight b/c i was eating very low cals daily b/c of pain killer making me go to sleep i was eating lik 1200 cals a day which made me lose alot of weight. What do you guys think i should do?

Ok.. Thats what I thought I hate feeling like this im so skinny and i feel so weak since i havn't been to gym in forever and i lost all my gain due to this injury. So How much should i try to get my weight up to? But it is about 3 weeks away=(

i'm sorry to hear about what happened! son just eat as much as you can and keep lifting it will all fall into place! :)

you can afford to eat alot and when back in the gym take it slow ok? :)

Ok I'll try to start eating more get my weight up in these 3 weeks then take it from there.I'll still be very inactive for these 3weeks tho=( How do I find out my maintance cals so that I can go over abit im 5'11-6ft, 17, male.

I would just sit at maintenance while you're out of the gym, then begin to increase calores once you've started working out again. You would essentially be eating a lot and not working out, I'd imagine you want to put on quality weight instead of just fat.

yep correct but im not sure what my maintance cals are=\ and im actually underweight i think for my age so i don't know how much i should be getting=(

Have you been losing weight steadily since you've been out of the gym? Record what a week of eating would look like for you, total up the calories, then increase them until you aren't losing weight. To be very general, multiply your bodyweight by 15 and work with that.

If I weighed 125 @ 5'11'' I would be drinking olive oil instead of water. Start eating.

Yea, these injuries really messed my life up. I was asleep alot of time b/c of the pain killers so I didn't eat much. I feel so weak I need to get my weight back up now that im off the pain killers.
