Hi all. J/W, anyone know some really good spanish or latin guitar songs? Like one with a rythm that once you hear it there is no mistaking that it is spanish guitar. I wanna learn some new songs, particularly latin style. Electric is cool and all, but I'm really into classical/acoustic style particularly fingerpicking (paul simon style,) so if possible, lets keep it acoustic. can some of you list your faves? Thanks a mill!

This one is slow and very good but it is in spanish. Very popular song, it's a classic. I bet if you could sing it and play it, even if you don't speak spanish and just learn the song, it would sound amazing. I play the intro on my electric with an amp and it still sounds great.

1. Obsession Confession by Slash and Marta Sanchez.
2. Canon in D major by Pachelbel
3. Any Acoustic stuff by Ritchie Blackmore, he writes great sounding riffs
4. Classical Gas, just because every acoustic player should know this song
5. Anything by Timo tolkki and malmsteen for electric (Gotta play some neo-classical shred)
All that stuff I find really fun to play

Wow. This actually isn't a bad list. If you can tie down Canon in D, you can cash in on weddings for years.
