So I'm supposed to be on this 1200-1400 cal a day diet, which usually works for me, but some days I eat way too much. So the day after going over the calories, should I just follow my regular plan or reduce my cal intake by the cal over the limit? Or something in between? thanks

just go back to your normal dieting no need to drastically reduce calories.... look at it as a somewhat refeeding... I purposefly go over maintenance 1-2x wk

It sounds like you tried to move into your diet too fast. Your body needs to get adjusted to the small amounts of food you're taking in. Reduce your maintenance calories slowly, otherwise it will just lead to overeating and binging.

That sounds awfully low. At 180lbs when I ate 1200-1500 calories a day I lost ALOT of muscle. I would raise your cals, unless you are a tiny female hehe.

well I don't think I need to raise it, but thanks for suggestion.
Beast- I don't think I'vr overeaten because of binging, because I've been on this diet for a few months now. I noticed it hapens on days when I'm studying a lot, I think it is more of boredom eating that anything, and it is on those days that I also happen to get fast food, just so I can get back to it :(
