Can anybody give me a good football workout. Mainly for power and strength and if possible directed for a linebacker. 4 days a week would also help. Thanks.

here is what we do for our football program, it's called Bigger faster stronger it's 3 days a week. Monday cores *compound lifts that have to be done* are Bench and Squat and then we do just a bunch of Auxilary lifts that aren't too important, but do something. Wednesday is Cleans, and Dead lifts, and different Auxilaries. Thursday is Incline Bench and Front Squats and same auxilaries as monday. the Sets and Reps cycles, start with 3x3, next week go to 5x5, then 5 4 3 2 1 then 10 8 6 *except cleans do 4 4 2 on* and then every month or so do a Max out day on all your lifts and note your progress, keep a detailed journal, that's what we've done and I've gained over 50 pounds of muscle and all my lifts have went up by over 75 pounds. if you have questions let me know, good luck.

Yea I agree with Jester, im also playin football i took the BFS workout and changed it to my likings. Im going away to college soon, if u like ill send u their workout.

how do u squat 475.. i just started a few months ago and im only doin like 150.. holy crap your strong lol

some people are naturally strong in their legs, I was until I quit squatting... a 475lb squat for a 15 year old kid is really impressive ( I was in 10th grade ).

im 17 and my legs are my strongest part. My chest use to lag far behind, i was only puttin up 200 as a max. I changed my chest routine and now im up to 280
